What is Bokksu? Bokksu is a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing snack box subscription service that comes straight from Japan! The snacks are all sourced from local traditional Japanese businesses, and the box includes a booklet that explains where each treat came from within Japan.
Each month of snacks carries a different theme, the most recent of which was Sakura Season. So much pink! And so many snacks which really highlights a ‘bang for your buck’ aspect in this special subscription service. The entire box is filled to the brim with snacks, candies, and teas which means you don’t have to worry about “paying for air” if you know what I mean.

When you open your Bokksu box, it feels like an intimate moment within Japan itself. So much culture packed into one place! It’s almost exclusively Japanese on the packaging, which makes it a fun way to practice your Japanese if you’ve entered the journey of learning the language. Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji are all present on the cute packaging.
Some of the treats are sweet while some are salty, and others introduce new textures and flavours altogether. They’re all high-quality!
A Few of This Months Treats
Something cool about this months box is that it included pink jelly that has REAL Sakura blossoms in it from Japan!!! That one really blew my mind, I can’t wait to see what next month’s box has to offer ^_^

Have you ever heard of Bokksu before? I hadn’t either until I started watching videos on YouTube published by people who have had the privilege of living in Japan for years. I trust that with their extensive experience living in the culture, they only promote products of Japan that they themselves have tried and enjoyed. In the same manner, I have tried the snacks in the Bokksu box pictured here and can confidently recommend it as a fantastic gift for yourself or a loved one.

There are different options available for your subscription service depending on your individual preference. You can choose to be billed monthly ($49.95/month), every three months ($44.95/month), six months ($42.95/month), or 12 months ($39.95/month).
I like that they offer these different options for people. Sometimes it’s hard to commit to something before trying it for the first time, so a monthly subscription is a great way to get started. You can always modify or change your subscription after you’ve selected it, the Bokksu support team is very responsive, helpful, and polite!
